Lonsec Market Commentary – May 2015

The S & P/ASX 200 Accumulation Index was up slightly at the end of May despite the big 4 banks being down 3.20% over the month.

European equity markets all finished slightly down at the end of the month while the Shanghai Composite and the NIKKEI both finished up.

Another budget deficit was forecast but consumer sentiment was up, spurred on by the RBA cutting the cash rate by another 0.25% to a new historic low of 2.0%.
